Why Water Safety Matters
Many children and families in underserved communities lack access to swim education and water safety resources. Destination Aquatic Training was created to help close that gap through affordable, accessible, and culturally relevant aquatic programming.
Drowning Prevention
Drowning remains a serious public health concern, especially for children and families with limited access to formal swim instruction.
Access Matters
Many underserved communities have fewer opportunities to participate in structured swim lessons, water safety education, and aquatic fitness programs.
Confidence Saves Lives
Water safety education helps students, families, and staff build confidence, awareness, and safer decision making in and around water.
Community Impact
Water safety education helps students, families, and staff build confidence, awareness, and safer decision making in and around water.
7.6x Higher Risk
Black children ages 10 to 14 drown at significantly higher rates than white children, highlighting the urgent need for equitable access to swim instruction and water safety education.
